Gabrielle Sinclair is an award-winning playwright whose work has been developed and produced internationally and across the country. Recent plays include: The Resolute: All Hands In (large-cast play designed for high schools and colleges), Alcestis (UGA mainstage), This Little Light (theatre for the very young piece at ATHICA in Athens, GA), The Resolute (Wyoming Theater Festival, finalist for the Jane Chambers playwriting award), The Bride Project (Love Me Gender Festival, Vienna), Showing (Ingram New Works Lab, Nashville Rep), Telling the Bees: The Just Now (Winner, Georgia Theatre Conference One-Act Play Competition), and Ghost Notes (North Carolina New Play Prize). Gabrielle's plays have been developed or presented through the Actors Studio Playwright-Directors Workshop, The Annoyance Theater, The Metropolitan Playhouse Living Literature Festival, and as a resident at The Celebration Barn Theater in South Paris, Maine. Gabrielle is a founding member and resident playwright for Hidden Well Theatre in New York City. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies at UGA.
